The Tac 2 1.5" is a exceptional collar for all applications! This collar is a great option for a quick walk around the block or a long hike, or even to make a statement at the local dog park! This size of the Tac 2 uses the 1.5” (38mm) AustriAlpin D-Ring Cobra. The unique function of this buckle is that the attachment point for the leash is built right into it!
This collar starts off with a 1.5” Type 7 rigid webbing. It is then sewn to a 1.5” Pack style webbing which adds a little more rigidity and additional strength. This is how we are able to offer this collar in both our Traditional (solid) and Elite (patterned) color options. are held together with a high strength bar-tac stitch pattern commonly seen in skydiving and rock-climbing equipment.
This collar comes standard with the following:
- A black coated solid brass slide adjuster, and a AustriAlpin D-Ring Cobra Buckle
- Collar comes with 8" of loop attachment for ID panel or PVC patches
- This collar is not compatible with the 3/8" or 1/2" leash snap options
Accent Stitching:
The day has finally come that we are able to re-release one of our favorite personalization selections, accent stitching! You now first select your base color for your collar or leash and then you are given the opportunity to then select a second color in which your item will be sewn. This adds yet another detail in being able to have not only the best, but most unique gear on the market.
Please note any accent stitching option makes this product not eligible for return.
A common question we get from our customers is wanting to know the difference between the Tac 2 1.5” and the Tac 2 1.75”. One is not superior to the other, it comes down to personal preference. The 1.75” is .25” wider than the 1.5”. The 1.75” has more room for loop attachment personalization (ID panels). Moreover, the 1.5” is more rigid than the 1.75". The 1.75” is a single piece of wider and more pliable webbing folded, doubling its thickness when manufactured. The 1.75” is also only offered in our traditional (solid) colors while the 1.5” is offered in Traditional (solid) and Elite (patterned) options. Both collars are held together with a high strength bar-tac stich pattern commonly seen in skydiving and rock-climbing equipment. Both sizes of this collar has 8” of loop attachment (velcro) to allow the addition of a custom ID Panel or pvc patches.
